EZRACH BRAIN TRUST ASSOCIATION
Ezrach Brain Trust is a nonprofit social enterprise with a mission to provide economic opportunity, growth and sustainability to underserved communities through faith and community based organizations. We are looking for a volunteer to help us to develop curricula for our workforce development, student engagement and digital literacy programs.
As stated Shaahid Ali El, our Chief Thought Officer, "churches and religious institutions must be the first responders in our communities". South LA happens to have some of the worst social and health determinants as it relates to unemployment, homeless and poor air quality. In response, to these dismal statistics, Project Bethany will combat chronic unemployment, eradicate financial illiteracy and mitigate pollution. Project Bethany is our flagship strategy that will be deployed to local churches and religious institutions to house our programs. This will be a set of standard operating procedures, more so a blueprint to help our communities receive services through Ezrach. We're looking for someone who would love to work with a coachable, engaged and enthusiastic team of social entrepreneurs that want to make a difference.
To date, we've developed an outline for our curriculum and have a strategic planning consultant to keep us on target with our goals. Once completed, we plan to seek funding and implement the standard operating procedure in our ecosystem of churches and religious institutions to begin programming.
