Project Overview

We are looking to conduct a series of focus groups with alumni of our Patchogue, Long Island campus. Specifically, we are interested in hearing candid feedback from alumni who graduated between 1990 and 2010. We are looking for insights on their perception of the brand and experience, their overall satisfaction as alumni and with their degree, and what they think about appeals to get involved as volunteers, engage with fellow alumni and current students, and make financial donations. We believe that current anecdotal feedback is that most alumni feel positively about the institution but it does not translate to making SJC a priority for their time, talent, or treasure.
We are looking to expand on our programs with new insight and market research. We are seeking qualitative information and want candid feedback and conversation facilitated by an experienced third party who is not a part of the institution, its history, or its culture.

We would like to work with someone experienced in asking/listening to focus groups.

Our team is new, young, and energetic to pursue new programs and strategies and will use the information to support decision-making at the highest levels.

We have access to a current and accurate database of alumni contact information. We have prepared a list of our target questions and knowledge gaps and are prepared to budget for time, space, events, and incentives for focus group participation.
