Project Overview
At TogetherWell, we are passionate about lowering the barriers to mental health care. Our love of learning, educating, and connecting with others continues. We are excited to be launching a podcast to further connect communities with mental health experts.
We are looking for a podcast producer to help support the launch of this exciting new podcast. The podcast producer plays a key role in overseeing duties around production management, scheduling, audio/video management, editing, and analytics. Strong communication and the ability to collaborate effectively are key to the success of this role.
Production Management: Collaborate with the team to produce each episode. Identify ways to evolve and market the show. Manage the production schedule, making sure things are running smoothly.
Guest Research and Scheduling: Research and identify guests to join the podcast. This includes administrative work like calling, emailing, and scheduling each guest, but it’s not limited to these tasks. Provide input on key interview questions and talking points specific to each guest.
Audio/Video Management and Editing: Oversee the recording, editing, and distributing of each episode. Troubleshoot lighting and audio challenges. Make recommendations on lighting, audio interfaces, microphones and soundboards.
Analytics Tracking and Reporting: Monitor podcast metrics, like the number of downloads, listener demographics, and listening times to make improvements in how the podcast is structured and produced.
Essential Skills:
- 1-3 years experience in podcast or radio production
- Hands-on lighting, audio recording & editing skills as well as the ability to research and recommend relevant technology and tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working collaboratively with creative talent
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
