Project Overview

Hello! We are looking for a graphic designer to help us build out specific fundraising collateral over the next 4 weeks. We have the copy and need someone who can help us design it into a series of one-pagers that are aesthetically pleasing and align with our branding. We are also hoping to have someone help us design stationery. We are based in DC but are thrilled to work with anyone around the country. The Lawyers' Committee is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization, formed in 1963 at the request of President John F. Kennedy to enlist the private bar’s leadership and resources in combating racial discrimination and the resulting inequality of opportunity—work that continues to be more vital than ever. Today, we stand on the front lines of the most pressing and complex civil rights challenges facing our country in recent history. In partnership with the nation’s leading law firms, we uphold legal rights for Black communities and other communities of color, act to safeguard fragile civil rights gains and continue the fight for true equality for all.

In the tenuous moment in our country's history, we are eager to expand our outreach to new funders/partners. Having sophisticated collateral will help us expand our fundraising and raise awareness about our efforts. We have already written the copy for this collateral but don't have an in-house graphic designer to work with to help make it forward-facing. Once implemented, this collateral will be tantamount to our success in marketing our work to new funders/partners.
