We are looking for a mobile app developer to create a mobile app that would help us better serve and identify individuals with mental health needs (specifically youth). The app would allow youth to select from various topics of mental health that they were currently facing or wanted education on, such as depression, anxiety, mood swings, trauma, etc. From there, the app would feature coping mechanisms for those various challenges, including videos, helpful sites, access to a video-sharing interface such as Zoom, Google Meet, etc., and additional information related to the chosen mood/diagnosis. On the app, there would be a place to sign up for services or schedule a consultation with one of our therapists.

This project is so important for us currently because we provide mental health services in numerous schools in our area. Many youths are currently suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, guilt, childhood trauma, and more. Designing this app would allow students who aren't confident enough to approach others or ask for help the ability to still seek this help. In return, we know that this app will reduce violence, suicide, and various mental health-related trauma for our future leaders of tomorrow. This app is going to help change the lives of the youth in our area who are struggling with mental health.

We have already written out various features we would love this application to have. Once this application is completed, we would like to enter it into schools by way of a QR code that students could scan, find out more about the app, and download and use it's features. We have already received feedback from six schools that are eager to have this app available for their students!
