Project Overview

We are seeking a talented animator to create a compelling animated video that shows a journey of healing and transformation. This video is meant to educate, raise awareness, and promote our commitment to improving mental health outcomes and reducing the stigma around mental health challenges.

Project Goal:
To produce an animated video that informs and emotionally resonates with adults, encouraging a deeper understanding of mental health challenges and reducing stigma. Your creativity can play a pivotal role in changing perceptions.

Key Aspects of the Video

Purpose: The animation should effectively communicate the progress and transformation that children and their families who participate in our programs experience as a result of our trauma-informed, evidence-based approach.

Target Audience: Our primary focus is on adults, including our stakeholders.

Animation Style:
The style should be engaging yet respectful of the topic. Creative freedom is encouraged if it aligns with the video's educational and promotional objectives.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in animation and graphic design, with a portfolio that includes similar emotional depth and impact work.
- Experience or knowledge in mental health topics, specifically trauma-informed care, anxiety, depression, and ADHD, is a plus.
- Ability to translate complex, sensitive topics into accessible, engaging content.
- Strong storytelling capabilities to evoke empathy and understanding from a diverse adult audience.

Join us in an exciting project where your artistry will take viewers on an impactful journey of healing and transformation. Your work will be instrumental in shattering the silence around mental health and illuminating the path to wellness.

We're not just creating a video; we're sparking a movement. This animation will serve as a beacon of hope and education, shedding light on the importance of mental health and the power of talking about it. You’ll be giving life to a narrative that breaks down barriers and builds understanding, helping to change perceptions and lives. Your animation will be more than just visuals; it'll be the heartbeat of our mission to impact the lives of children. This is an opportunity for you to leverage your skills for social good, to make your mark in a project that transcends entertainment, and to be part of a community committed to making a difference.

If you are ready to contribute your animation prowess to create art and a brighter, more informed world, we would be honored to have you on board. Let's combine your creativity with our passion for mental health and produce an animated video that resonates, educates, and empowers.

We've started the groundwork for this animation by collecting the authentic experience of a family recently discharged from our care. Our plan is to share this animation across various platforms online for widespread access, as a highlight in our upcoming stakeholder event and as a cornerstone of our "Reduce the Stigma" campaign in May. We believe this multifaceted approach ensures our message reaches as many hearts and minds as possible, sparking conversation and understanding where it's needed most. Our Development Director will be available to collaborate and team throughout the project.
