Project Overview

La Casa's Community Education team is looking for support in social media content creation for the month of June. The project entails creating 12 deliverable assets for our Instagram profile aligning with our 3x a week posting schedule (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays). Depending on the weekly availability of the volunteer, this project could take 2 to 4 weeks.

At La Casa de las Madres, we believe that Domestic Violence education saves lives and prevents future violence. Our Instagram page supports our mission by educating the community through updated DV statistics, wellness quotes, updates in our services and job postings, etc. We also love shining a light on our volunteer programming and community events. Combining our resources and your creative inspiration, let's elevate La Casa's social media together!

We are looking for someone who can follow our established brand guidelines, and work with our Community Education Manager to create meaningful content for the month of June. We utilize Canva for content creation, but would be open to you using the platform that works best for you. We have a social media calendar in google sheets, which clearly defines our posting goals (3x a week. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays). While we expect each post to be a single slide, we are open and excited to hearing ideas for the creation of a reel depending on your time and skillset.

The Community Education Manager will provide relevant photo and video content, as well as outline important themes and events for the month. Notably, since June is Pride Month, one theme we will focus on is the intersection of Domestic Violence & the LGBTQ+ Community.

Once the content is created, our skilled volunteer will add it to the content calendar to begin the approval process. Once approved by our Executive Director, the Community Education Manager will post final results.
