Project Overview

We would like volunteer support identifying and completing 2-3 government grant applications over the next 2 months. We have some experience with government grants but would like some expertise in both searching for the right matches and then writing and submitting the grants.

Our organization provides direct response childcare in disasters. This work is meaningful to the children, families, and communities that we serve, and money cannot be the barrier to entry. While our story is compelling, the future growth and sustainability of this work is contingent on government support. We received a CA state grant twice for this work, but it unfortunately was not renewed. Our goal is to find 2-3 government grants federally or in CA, FL, or LA that will help us build out this work to reach every child impacted by disasters.

We have grant copy that is extensive and have previously implemented all aspects of this project. Our hope is to match the work we already do with grant opportunities and fit our work into their goals. There is lots of grant copy to pull from and we are clear on how we can build out the project from that work and previous experience.
