Project Overview
Our nonprofit is in the process of createing a volunteer program. We would like this program to include a handbook and systems to organize and schedule the volunteers. We would like the handbook to be user-friendly and brief (no more than 5 pages).This project is a priority because it would help our nonprofit to obtain competent and consistent volunteers. This as a result will help to run our programs more effectively.I have already started creating a volunteer Google Form that interested participants would have to complete as part of the volunteer program sign-up process. I am researching other organization's volunteer programs to gather some ideas.
Nonprofit Overview
1. To structure, implement and participate in programs and projects primarily for people of different socio-economic backgrounds.
2. To encourage people of different socio-economic backgrounds to participate in integrated social and community settings.
3. To assist the abovementioned population to acquire sustainable and practical job training skills.
4. To assist and enable participants to acquire independent living skills to improve their overall quality of life.
