Project Overview

We are looking for a volunteer skilled in executive coaching to work with one or more of our supervisors as we adopt anti-racist values.

Our people are what make our organization so effective. We need your help ensuring that our leaders are as prepared as possible to navigate a crisis or major shifts by building up their empathy, agility, accountability, and decision-making skills. We are specifically interested in coaching services on the following areas:
-Change management
-Hybrid team oversight
-Building and maintaining organizational culture that discourages dominant cultural norms: https://www.cacgrants.org/assets/ce/Documents/2019/WhiteDominantCulture.pdf
-Leadership best practices

Seeking support as a leader new to this rapid-growth organization. I started as Executive Director in January and learned that some people had no supervision and some program leads are first-time supervisors and were provided no support, guidelines, or practices. We have implemnted some and meeting twice a month as a supervisor team.

We are building a lot of new tools and defining practices that support our written policies. We have rough transitions over the past six months and I'd like to explore either group coaching or coaching for myself and two or three members of the supervisors team who are on the earlier end of their leadership career.

Our organization is primed and ready to make this important investment. We are hoping that our volunteer can meet with either a group of supervisors or offer 1:1 coaching to all supervisors (5 people) 2-4 times per month for 60-90 minute coaching sessions.

We would like for culture-related coaching to include this framework as a tool: https://www.cacgrants.org/assets/ce/Documents/2019/WhiteDominantCulture.pdf
