Project Overview

We need a Human Resources professional who can review and make improvements and/or corrections to the Human Resources documents we have created. This includes:
1. HR processes and documents related specifically to:
-Recruitment, Onboarding, Retention, and Termination processes
2. Employee Handbook which includes:
-Performance Review and Reward Process
-Employee Health and Safety
-Employee Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy
-EEO, Discrimination and Harassment, DEI Policy
-Benefits and Compensation Policy
3. Job Descriptions
4. HR Compliance process/checklists for:
-Payroll and Financial Systems Processes
-SOPs to ensure WTL is on the roadmap to proper Federal and State HR Compliance
-Provide industry standard Mandatory Trainings List

Our nonprofit wants to be sure that our infrastructure processes and organization capacity (board, staff, and volunteers) is as robust as possible. In order to achieve this we need a solid Human Resources Department guided by comprehensive HR plans, guidance, and documents. Strong personnel makes for a strong nonprofit organization!

The aforementioned draft documents have been created. We will give the HR professional access to Mineral (through Quick Books), which provides access to a variety of HR templates.

The draft policies, handbook, and checklists will be disseminated to the HR manager, Board of Directors, Executive Director, and staff (paid and volunteer) as appropriate/relevant. They will be used and referenced in decision-making throughout the management of the organization.
