The AI and Faith website is in need of a refresh – one that matches the caliber of our organization. We are searching for someone with solid WordPress experience to help clean up the site and make it look more cohesive/professional.

AI and Faith is working to bring the wisdom of the world’s ancient faith traditions to bear in the development and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). We are the only pluralistic faith organization that we are aware of that is doing this work and, as a result, have been invited to join groups like the Partnership on AI, a global collection of organizations (including ACLU, Amazon, Apple, Code for Africa, Google, Meta, Microsoft, OpenAI, and UNICEF) working to advance responsible governance and best practices in AI.

Over six-and-a-half years, we have built an organization of 170 volunteers including luminaries like Cathie Wood (CEO of Ark Invest), Emad Mostaque (founder and CEO of Stability.ai), and Joanna Ng (pioneering AI researcher and IBM Master Inventor). With a small annual budget in the thousands of dollars, we’ve been able to accomplish much but are beginning to suffer the effects of inconsistent and insufficient WordPress support.

The co-lead of our Media and Technology group is in the process of creating a punch list of website issues on both desktop and smartphone interfaces that can be reviewed and added to once a volunteer is identified. He is also available to work closely with the developer. Finally, we assume most if not all changes will be accomplished over time and the project will be complete once an agreed upon list of items has been addressed.
