Project Overview
Preservation Quest is seeking a volunteer experienced in Jira Admin to help us optimize our use of the system. We are looking to improve our workflow, set appropriate user permissions, and other basic functions. Part of this project should include basic training of staff members so that we are able to manage the system after the volunteer's project with us has ended.
We've been using Jira on an ongoing basis for a few years and having assistance in cleaning up our instance from an administrative point of view would help us ease or even erase configuring, usage, and tech debt issues we've developed over time. Overall it will improve how, what, and when we're able to use the system to its full extent!
Our self-hosted instance of Jira is fully set up, accessible, and all of our licenses are active for it and for any plugins or add-ons you decide we should be using. While we'll work on this together, we won't forget that you're the expert, and that will be respected above all else.

Our mission is to save every video game. Ever.
We don't mean just the games, but the stories of how video games have impacted children, and adults in forms unique to countries like Brazil, Nigeria, New Zealand, the US, and the world.
They also alleviate pain, suffering, and have the ability to vastly improve the lives of people no matter their race or creed. Take third degree burns for example, a condition so traumatic that "few injuries involve more painful and numerous procedures than severe burns."
