Session Overview
The goal for this session is to consult and evaluate our software and hardware. I'd like to provide an inventory of the software, apps and hardware we use and how it is configured, and receive consulting about ways we could accomplish our work effectively at the best price. Some softwares and apps overlap, and not all work together, so perhaps looking at our workflow and identifying what configuration of apps would serve us best for our needs. If possible, I'd like to also identify ways to receive support for integrating apps and information, so our small, one-person office can be highly effective with effective use of the best apps currently available for things like project management, website content, constituency and donor engagement. Nonprofit Overview
Our mission is to end mass incarceration, violence and abuse through social action, enhanced collaboration techniques and evidence-based practice. We have five focus areas: prisoner reentry and recidivism reduction, domestic violence and sexual assault prevention, child abuse prevention and healthy parenting, and veterans mental health access and suicide prevention.
This survivor-led nonprofit was founded to develop a replicable model of highly effective social change that will produce results. By applying the Collective Impact model paired with evidence-based standards of practice, resources, training and technical assistance, we help communities develop actionable, evidence-based comprehensive plans and raise the resources needed to carry out the plan and staff the committees to do the work, measure the results, and scale up successful pilots with effectiveness. We work with national and local experts to apply vital capacity building support and resources to help communities create the change they want to see, and to build the infrastructure each community needs to sustain the effort and reach their goals!
We assess the need, make the case and raise the money to do our work, so we support communities at no cost to themselves!
