Session Overview
I am approaching the burn-out phase from being a founder/executive director since 2005 of a small NGO in Ghana (education and leadership focused). I have a couple of great volunteers and paid staff in Ghana, but most of the work lands on me, especially in development. Our board needs to be re-engaged and we need new members, too, which I have been actively recruiting. We need a board chair and no one currently with us wants that role.
I don't know if I need a coach, or to create a post for a volunteer to help with some parts of development, and would appreciate having time with someone familiar with founders syndrome!
Nonprofit Overview
We empower youth in Ghana to be change-makers in their own communities.
The Pagus path to success is holistic, rigorous and sustainable. We assist students in their academic, personal and social development. Our programs set a high bar, allowing students to surprise themselves. Our delivery model is sustainable because our scholars have the skills to teach and lead projects in their communities.
