Our Goal:
Our organization is committed to elevating board performance through a strategic development and training program. This can help our organization to equip our board with the necessary skills and knowledge for effective strategic oversight. Ultimately, we want to streamline board recruitment by having clear development plans and training materials in place to attract qualified candidates.
Building a Needs Assessment: Identifying the board's current strengths, weaknesses, and knowledge gaps critical for strategic decision-making.
Developing a Training Curriculum: Creating a targeted program that addresses identified needs and fosters strong board performance.
Crafting Recruitment Materials: Optimizing board member profiles, position descriptions, and other materials to resonate with high-caliber candidates aligned with our training program and strategic vision.
Although our organization has been in existence going on 11 years now the organization has lacked in this area due to inexperience organization has had and the founding member lacked skills in area just had a passion for the work. By collaborating, we can develop a roadmap for building a board that actively contributes to the organization's success. This will ensure a smooth onboarding process for new members and create a culture of continuous learning and engagement within the board.

The mission of Women of Refined Gold is to Educate, Empower, and End repeat cycles of unhealthy relationships. We do so by educating communities impacted by domestic violence, taking a holistic approach, and equipping women and teen girls with survivor resources to reclaim their lives.
