Grant Research and Writing
The volunteer grant writer will research and analyze giving priorities of philanthropic foundations that support global development via online databases i.e. the Foundation Center. The volunteer grant writer will write letters of inquiry to foundations that are best aligned with the mission of OneProsper (girl's education and women's empowerment).
Girls living in the Thar Desert of India are never able to go to school because they are compelled to walk hours to collect water for their families.
OneProsper has transformed the lives of 460 girls in India through education, clean water, nutrition and income generation. The volunteer will help OneProsper to raise funds to transform lives of 1,000 girls.
The volunteer grant writer will have access to Founder Center and will be mentored by one OneProsper board member with significant experience in nonprofit development:
