Programs
Make a Difference through Virtual Skills-Based Volunteering

Taproot Plus is your front-door for accessing volunteer opportunities through our nonprofit. Once you set up your volunteer profile, you’ll have access to hundreds of ways to support organizations fighting for human rights, expanding education access, protecting the environment, and much more, and customized support from the knowledgeable Taproot team.
Projects
Become an invaluable member of a nonprofit’s team as you tackle one of their top infrastructure needs during a Taproot Plus Project. Projects are short-term partnerships where you donate a few hours per week while working toward a concrete deliverable. These are transformative volunteering opportunities as you form deep relationships with nonprofits and add consulting experience to your resume.
Sessions
Donate an hour of your time and professional expertise to causes you care about through a Taproot Plus Session! These are our quickest way to make a difference, and they’re flexible enough to work around your busy schedule. During these 60-minute virtual calls, you’ll provide problem-solving, brainstorming, or project planning guidance.
Get Involved with Taproot Programming
We partner with forward-thinking companies and grantmakers to bring skills-based volunteer resources to more communities. You’ll learn about eligible pro bono opportunities and events through your Taproot Plus account.
Workshop
Lead a virtual training on a topic of your choosing, supporting professional skill development for nonprofits and small businesses as the facilitator of a Taproot Workshop.

Work on a team of volunteers to deliver a social good partner with a roadmap for tackling a complicated infrastructure issue, providing vital support for their long-term sustainability.
Speed Consulting
The social impact version of speed dating! A fast-paced volunteer opportunity where you’ll meet multiple organizations and provide consultations in your area of business expertise.
Marathon
Collaborate with a team of fellow volunteers to address a nonprofit or small business organizational need—from start to end—during a Taproot Pro Bono Marathon.
Long-Term Team Project
