We are looking for someone with expertise to help Scientific Adventures for Girls increase our social media presence. We are hoping for a strategy and some content that we can use going forward in 2024 and 2025. This is a virtual opportunity.

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young lives through STEM education? If so, we need your help in creating a social media strategy to increase our outreach to parents, partners, and funders. We're on the lookout for a dynamic and creative individual to help enhance our social media strategy and amplify the reach of our afterschool STEM programs for girls in K-6th grade.

What You'll Do:
Develop a social media strategy for 2024.
Develop some social media content.
Cultivate and grow our online community.
Collaborate with our team to showcase the impact of our programs.
Utilize your creativity to inspire and inform our audience.

Requirements:
Passion for STEM education and empowering young girls.
Familiarity with popular social media platforms.
Creative mindset and enthusiasm for storytelling.
Willingness to commit a few hours per week.

We have a former strategy used over the last two years, but are looking for something more dynamic. Once the strategy is complete, one of our staff will implement moving forward.

Scientific Adventures for Girls (SAfG) is working to change the face of science. We work to remove systemic barriers to all-girls’ participation in STEM starting in kindergarten, engage them through hands-on learning, increase their positive attitudes toward STEM, and equip them with 21st-century skills.
