Scenario Planning and Risk Assessment

As part of our organization's three year strategic plan, we are working to improve our business model. For this project, we are seeking support with scenario planning to help determine the best course of action to ensure the organization's longterm sustainability and impact. We have identified a few potential actions for our main earned revenue-driving programs, including sunsetting, scaling, and restructuring, and would benefit from outside perspective and expertise in evaluating the financial implications of these potential actions.

Approaching its 30th year of service, Dancewave has weathered quite a few storms. Within the past four years, we have successfully navigated an executive leadership transition during an active global pandemic and have done extensive work rebuilding the infrastructure and processes necessary for our organization to thrive. We are primed and ready to make some bold decisions regarding our organization's direct service programs so that we can ensure Dancewave's longterm sustainability and impact. By volunteering for our project, you can help us to determine the best path forward to improving our business model so that we can continue thriving for another 30 years.

In preparation for this project, Dancewave has conducted a program mapping exercise to measure the impact and financial sustainability of its earned revenue programs. We have also created a tool to calculate administrative staff time and cost for each of these programs, providing deeper insight into direct and indirect costs associated with each program. Dancewave's Executive Director and Managing Director are leading this project and will be responsible for determining implementation timelines with staff upon project completion.
