We're looking for a volunteer to help us save time and be more strategic with our social media presence. Specifically, you'll work with program staff and leadership to create a one- to two-month social posting calendar. The final deliverable will be fifteen to twenty social media posts. Social media content can be drawn from our images, event info, and blog posts.

You're a great fit for us if you're passionate about our mission, you have a background in managing professional social media accounts, and you can spend about fifteen hours over two months on this project. If you’d like to continue to volunteer with us longer, we’d love to have you!

Our participants in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood struggle with addiction, homelessness, and violence. They are also some of the most resilient, brave folks in the city and we’re honored to support them on their journeys towards healing. Telling the stories of hope and strength that we encounter every day is critical to our mission. A skilled storyteller with a background in social media management will make a powerful difference for our organization. We hope you’ll lend your skills and experience to the cause!

To prepare for the project, we will provide you with our events calendar and other relevant social media handles of organizations in our sector. You'll have access to photos, hashtags we use, and access to our leadership and program staff to learn about our services and events.

Our mission is building healing and leadership within the community so that together we may create a brighter future for all those who call the Tenderloin their home. The Healing WELL provides urgently needed services to our marginalized and unhoused neighbors in San Francisco. Our programming tends to the body, mind and spirit and includes movement, mindfulness, creative arts, 12-step programs, and more. Our Tenderloin neighbors face significant challenges in overcoming the traumas of poverty, violence, and displacement and we're honored to support them on their journeys towards healing.
