Grant Proposal Review

Our nonprofit is searching for a grant writer or talented copywriter to assist our team in reviewing a grant proposal's requirement of submitting a 5-Year Strategic Plan and making updates.

To implement this grant writing project review of the 5-Year Strategic Plan, we'll need two meetings with a volunteer. In our first meeting, we will provide you with a copy and review the application draft with you. We'll align on expectations and agree on the project timeline. Next, you'll review our document using the track changes function checking for inconsistencies and continuity errors, and creates a list of recommended changes to share with us. The project will conclude after up to two rounds of edits which the volunteer will make the agreed-upon changes to the document.

Arlene's Angels: Hand in Paw Healing 501(c)(3) envisions a world that supports and honors second chances for humans and animals alike. We envision humans and animals working alongside each other, hand in paw, during their journey towards hope and restoration as they lead a new walk in life. In a population of 500,000 residents in Clark County, Washington, the ratio of those in need of mental health services to mental health providers is 355:1. Our goal is to offer free or reduced mental health services and resources in Clark County, Washington, to youth and their families. Approximately 920,000 animals across the nation are euthanized in shelters annually. Our work helps to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals at risk of being euthanized from high-kill shelters. We have a dedicated team member for the project who will provide you with the document that needs to be reviewed in an easily shareable format. (Microsoft Word, Google Docs, etc.) We'll also send you the proposal and application guidelines.
