Sudam Education Foundation (SEF) is dedicated to empowering underprivileged students by providing scholarships, free career counseling, Personality development and value-based education. Through our initiatives, we aim to nurture academic excellence, foster personal growth, and equip students with the skills and opportunities needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. Sudam Education Foundation (SEF) seeks to address the critical gap in equitable access to education for underprivileged students, particularly in low-income communities. The root causes stem from systemic issues such as inadequate infrastructure, lack of financial resources, and limited access to career guidance, leaving students without the tools to succeed. Despite various governmental initiatives, the problem persists due to uneven resource distribution, transparency gaps, and ineffective support mechanisms. SEF addresses these cha lenges by offering scholarships, free career counseling, and educational resources to empower students. Although SEF was recently incorporated, the work has been ongoing for more than three years, achieving significant impact on a small scale. Statistics show that the dropout rate at the secondary level (10th to 12th grade) is around 17.06%, primarily due to financial constraints and lack of access to quality education, exacerbated by the privatization of higher secondary education. Additionally, 13.6% of students aged 15 and above report that financial difficulties prevent them from pursuing education beyond the secondary level. These figures highlight the critical bottleneck in education after the 10th grade, where students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds often struggle to continue their studies due to the increasing cost burden and limited educational opportunities.
