The Renaissance Charter School 2 in Elmhurst, Queens, seeks new civic-minded education advocates to join its vibrant Board of Trustees. We need support in developing the board to include new stakeholders with business, philanthropic, and education policy familiarity.

Renaissance 2 is committed to developing leaders at every level of our school community. This includes the cultivation of a vibrant Board of Trustees that can help steer fiscal, operational, and compliance oversight while ensuring that the original vision of our original school in Jackson Heights, Queens.

Our executive team within the Board will liaise with volunteers to strategize and support this process.

The Renaissance Charter School is based on the conviction that a change in the destiny of a single individual can lead to a change in the destiny of a community, nation, and ultimately humankind. Its mission as a PK-12 school is to foster educated, responsible, humanistic young leaders who will through their own personal growth spark a renaissance in New York.
