Social Media and Storytelling Development
COHAP Outreach Corporation’s mission is to empower marginalized communities, including veterans, formerly incarcerated individuals, domestic violence victims, aged-out foster care young adults, and other underserved populations. Social media is a powerful tool for spreading awareness about our programs, sharing success stories, engaging with donors and volunteers, and fostering a sense of community. However, creating consistent, high-quality content that resonates with diverse audiences requires significant time and expertise.
We need a skilled social media content writer who can:
1) Tell Our Story Effectively: Craft compelling narratives that highlight our mission, programs, and impact.
2) Drive Engagement: Develop content that encourages interaction, builds trust, and strengthens our online community.
3) Expand Our Reach: Help us reach more individuals in need, potential donors, and community partners by creating shareable and impactful posts.
A consistent and engaging social media presence is essential for COHAP Outreach Corporation to:
* Raise Awareness: Ensure that veterans, formerly incarcerated individuals, domestic violence survivors, and aged-out foster care young adults know about the resources available to them.
*Attract Support: Inspire more donors, volunteers, and partners to join us in our mission.
* Build a Community: Foster a supportive online space where people can connect, learn, and take action.
By improving our social media content, we can directly increase program participation, volunteer engagement, and donation levels, which are crucial to sustaining and expanding our services.
We are well-prepared to collaborate with a volunteer on this project:
1) Internal Buy-in: Our leadership team recognizes the value of a strong social media presence and is fully on board with this initiative.
2) Content Resources: We have gathered a library of photos, videos, testimonials, and success stories that can be used to create compelling content.
3) Audience Insights: We have developed profiles of our key audiences, including their needs, preferences, and the types of content that resonate most with them.
4) Team Support: Our marketing and communications team is ready to provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout the project.
5) Experience with Pro Bono Projects: We have successfully completed other pro bono partnerships, such as website design and Google Ads optimization, demonstrating our ability to collaborate effectively and implement volunteer recommendations.
Implementation of Project Outcomes: Once the volunteer completes the project, our team will take responsibility for managing the social media content calendar and continuing to create and post content based on the strategies and templates provided. We have allocated staff time to ensure consistency and maintain momentum. The enhanced social media presence will help us achieve long-term engagement, increase donations, and strengthen our community partnerships.
