Conduct an Independent 360 HR Review

We would like support from a skilled HR professional to complete a 360 review of the Executive Director position at FracTracker Alliance, a nonprofit focused on environmental data transparency and community advocacy. This project would involve reviewing the current role description, evaluating organizational needs, interviewing staff, and providing recommendations to strengthen leadership alignment, accountability, and sustainability.

-Reviewing and refining the Executive Director job description and responsibilities.
-Designing and facilitating a process for staff (and possibly board) feedback to inform the 360 review.
-Providing best-practice recommendations for performance evaluation frameworks for nonprofit leadership.
-Offering guidance on equity-centered HR practices to ensure that the role reflects justice, diversity, and inclusion values.
-Advising on appropriate benchmarking for compensation and workload balance within nonprofit settings.

We envision the volunteer working with us for 2–5 hours per week over the project period, engaging in collaborative discussions, reviewing materials we provide, and interviewing staff to capture perspectives. The outcome would be a clearer, equity-informed framework for the Executive Director role that strengthens both organizational culture and accountability to our mission.

We will provide the volunteer with all necessary background materials, including the current job description, organizational chart, strategic priorities, and HR policies. We will also designate a point person to coordinate scheduling, answer questions, and ensure smooth communication with staff and board participants.
