Communications & Print Materials Design

Drop of Water is seeking a skilled graphic designer to help us create a suite of branded communication materials that will strengthen our outreach and fundraising efforts.

Project details:
We would like to design:

-A professional letterhead template we can use for official communications

-A visually engaging organizational brochure that introduces Drop of Water, our mission, and impact stories

-Pamphlet templates for community events and donor outreach

-A warm, impactful thank-you note/card design for donors, partners, and volunteers

We already have our logo, colors, and a general brand direction. The volunteer will help translate these into polished, print- and digital-ready designs.

This project will directly strengthen Drop of Water’s ability to communicate our mission, programs, and impact to the communities we serve, as well as to our donors and partners. By creating cohesive and professional branded materials, the volunteer will help us:

Increase awareness of our work providing clean drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene education to rural communities in Ethiopia.

Engage donors and partners more effectively through polished brochures, pamphlets, and thank-you notes that tell the story of our impact.

Empower communities by providing clear, culturally relevant materials that help locals understand and participate in our programs.

Build long-term sustainability by creating reusable templates that our team can update and use for years to come, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all communications.

By contributing their design skills, the volunteer will play a key role in helping Drop of Water expand our reach, strengthen relationships, and make a lasting difference in the lives of the communities we serve.

We are fully committed to making this project a success and ensuring our volunteer’s time is impactful. Our team has already:

-Secured internal buy-in from leadership and our communications team, so all designs will be reviewed and implemented quickly.

-Gathered key branding materials, including our logo.

-Compiled examples of past communications and outreach materials, so the volunteer can see the context.

Identified the specific uses for each design (letterhead, brochure, pamphlets, thank-you cards), and the formats we need (print-ready, digital, editable templates).

Once completed, all designs will be implemented immediately across our programs, communications, and fundraising activities. We will provide timely feedback and maintain open communication throughout the project to ensure that the volunteer’s contributions are fully realized and have lasting impact for Drop of Water.
