The WildRoot Collective is seeking a skilled graphic designer or brand strategist to help us develop a cohesive Brand Style Guide that captures the essence of our mission and supports consistent, professional communication across all platforms.

During this project, the volunteer will:

-Review our existing logo, color palette, and visual materials
-Collaborate with our team to understand our mission, vision, values, and target audiences
-Design a Brand Style Guide that includes:

*Logo usage and spacing rules
*Primary and secondary color palettes
*Typography and font hierarchy
*Photography and imagery guidelines
*Sample applications (social media, flyers, presentations)
*Tone and voice recommendations for messaging

This guide will serve as our visual foundation, ensuring that our materials are accessible, culturally resonant, and consistent across all touchpoints—from community workshops to social media and grant proposals.
The WildRoot Collective’s mission is to cultivate healing, justice, and connection through intergenerational programs, food sovereignty education, and cultural resilience.

A professional Brand Style Guide will help us:

Strengthen our brand recognition and credibility with funders, partners, and participants

Present a cohesive and trustworthy public image across platforms

Communicate our values of cultural integrity, sustainability, and inclusion more effectively

Empower our team and volunteers to produce materials that align with our mission

By supporting this project, the volunteer will help ensure that The WildRoot Collective’s message of community and liberation reaches more people—clearly, beautifully, and powerfully.
We’ve gathered all existing brand assets, including our logo, program descriptions, and marketing materials. Our team has a clear understanding of our core values and audiences, and we’re ready to collaborate closely with a creative volunteer who can help translate our identity into a polished visual system.

We’ll set up weekly or biweekly check-ins, share timely feedback, and provide reference materials that reflect our aesthetic inspirations—centered on community, nature, culture, and collective care.

Our team will immediately implement the new Brand Style Guide across our website, social media, printed materials, and partnership outreach, ensuring the volunteer’s work has a tangible, lasting impact.

Organization Mission

The WildRoot Collective is a Georgia-based nonprofit and social enterprise committed to justice-centered community building, collective liberation, community wellness, and food sovereignty. Our hybrid model integrates earned income from mission-driven businesses—Wild Lit Books and Wild Grounds Coffee Company—with community-centered nonprofit programming. In partnership with our community, we address food injustice, social isolation, and the absence of joyful, nourishing spaces—grounding our work in land, culture, and collective learning. Our approach is bold yet grounded: profit supports purpose, and our community is at the center of everything we do. To cultivate healing, justice, and connection through intergenerational programs, food sovereignty education, and cultural resilience, rooted in a vision of collective liberation.
