Social Media Content Calendar & Copywriting

We're looking for a volunteer to help us save time and be more strategic with our social media presence. Specifically, you'll create a one-month social posting calendar template that we can use to manage multiple social media channels easily. You'll draft fifteen to twenty posts and make recommendations to customize our content for different platforms. We will seek your input on using tools to automate our social media postings.

You're a great fit for us if you're passionate about our mission, you have a background in managing professional social media accounts, and you can spend ten hours over one to three weeks on this project (we can be flexible on this - we currently have zero social media - so anything helps!).

Developing this comprehensive social media strategy and one-month content calendar will establish our first digital presence and create a replicable template for ongoing community engagement. This work will increase visibility among potential donors and supporters while allowing us to consistently share our environmental impact stories, upcoming initiatives, and calls to action. By creating a replicable monthly framework, we'll ensure our social media efforts remain strategic and manageable as we build momentum and grow our online audience from the ground up.

To prepare for the project, we will provide access to our social media handles, partner organizations' handles, photos, logos, and success stories, and a list of relevant hashtags. Volunteers will have support and guidance to ensure the calendar is practical and ready to use.
