We are seeking a volunteer accountant to organize and manage our QuickBooks file, reconcile Arvest bank accounts, and create or improve concise bookkeeping processes and documentation. Specific tasks, access needs, and weekly time commitment will be discussed with volunteers during interviews.

Accurate books and a smoother banking process will free staff time to focus on direct student programming, sustain our safe and affordable after-school services, and support stronger financial decisions that advance SOAR’s mission.

Success will mean QuickBooks records are current and reconciled, clear written procedures are in place for routine bookkeeping and bank communications, and a brief handoff plan enables staff to maintain accurate records going forward. Details about timing and access will be provided to volunteers.
