We’re building a national data platform to capture and visualize the real-world impact of adaptive gaming in rehabilitation settings. Our MVP currently runs on Google Cloud, and we’re ready to refine and scale it to demonstrate measurable outcomes for patients and hospital partners.

We’re seeking a skilled volunteer to help us:

Assess our current MVP (built in Google Cloud) and make recommendations for improving architecture, data flow, and scalability.

Design or prototype a sustainable cloud-based data tool to visualize patient outcomes and therapist engagement using adaptive gaming in rehabilitation.

Develop or refine our KPIs and data schemas, ensuring alignment with funder priorities and hospital reporting needs.

Recommend data visualization approaches (e.g., dashboard mockups using Looker Studio, Tableau, or React-based UI).

By partnering with a volunteer, we’ll strengthen our ability to collect, analyze, and communicate the impact of adaptive gaming interventions — empowering therapists, hospitals, and funders to expand access nationwide.
ReSpawn Foundation helps people with disabilities reconnect, recover, and rediscover play through adaptive gaming in rehabilitation. By building a more robust data platform, we can:

Quantify the therapeutic and social benefits of adaptive gaming.

Strengthen partnerships with hospitals and funders by providing evidence of impact.

Secure capacity-building revenue to expand access for patients nationwide.

This volunteer’s work will directly help us scale a national standard for adaptive gaming in rehab—turning play into measurable recovery and connection.
We have an existing Google Cloud MVP that collects session-level data from rehabilitation sites. Our team includes clinicians, program evaluators, and a data coordinator familiar with our collection process. We can provide:

Access to sample data, intake forms, and survey templates.

KPIs and impact metrics tied to our current grants (e.g., patient participation, engagement, and therapeutic outcomes).

A clear set of deliverables and review checkpoints.

We’ll meet weekly with the volunteer to ensure alignment and provide all necessary background on our adaptive gaming programs and goals.
