Design an irrigation system to support our microgreens production. The volunteer will produce a system schematic/layout, recommended components, and basic installation and maintenance guidance. Specific capacity and site constraints will be provided and can be refined during volunteer interviews.

A reliable irrigation design will increase microgreens yield and consistency, helping expand access to fresh, nutritious food in Harlem and The Bronx. The project will support program growth and create practical opportunities to train community members in healthy food production.

We will collaborate closely with the volunteer and provide production goals, site details, and access to staff for questions; details will be provided during interviews. Our team is committed to reviewing the design and implementing the recommended system, and will coordinate follow-up as needed.
