We’re seeking a skilled fundraising strategist or development professional to help us create a 6-Month Fundraising Roadmap & Action Plan that will guide our efforts to secure sustainable support.

With your expertise, we’d like to:
-Evaluate our current fundraising activities and identify high-potential opportunities.
-Clarify where to focus first — grants, individual donors, or partnerships.
-Develop a simple, actionable 6-month roadmap outlining short-term priorities, timelines, and next steps.
-Recommend 3–5 key funding opportunities or partnership types aligned with our mission.
-Provide basic tools (e.g., timeline, tracking sheet, or checklist) for our team to use beyond the project.

Creshendo is a new nonprofit working with migrants and displaced communities across the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East. Our programs are bold, community-centered, and entirely volunteer-run — and now we need help building a financial foundation that can carry us forward.

Guide our team through the real questions we’re facing right now:

• How do we build a smart funding strategy when federal refugee funding is being cut?
• Where do we focus first: grants, individual donors, or partnerships?
• What’s realistic for a volunteer-led nonprofit at our stage — and what’s not?
• How do we align our program offerings with funders who actually exist right now?
Creshendo works to shift power and opportunity back to migrants and displaced people — through education, economic support, and storytelling. But in the current political climate, organizations like ours are being pushed to the margins.

Federal funding for refugee programs has been cut. Grassroots organizations are left scrambling. And global movements like ours are often excluded from traditional funding pipelines.

Your guidance could help us survive this moment and build something sustainable on the other side of it.

You won’t just be helping us raise money. You’ll be helping us protect programs that exist because the system failed. You’ll be helping us keep going.
You’ll be supported by our Executive Director and Development & Partnerships team, which includes smart volunteers committed to learning and action. We’ll provide a clear starting point, including:
• Our current and past funding efforts
• Draft FY26 strategy goals
• Partnership decks and campaign materials
• Programmatic priorities and team capacity

We’re flexible on format. You could join team meetings monthly, mentor one-on-one, or help co-create a short-term roadmap. We will respect your time, move with clarity, and implement what we learn.
