NexoAfrica is seeking a skilled social media volunteer to help us strengthen our digital presence and storytelling. We want to create a cohesive, high-impact social media strategy that highlights our programs, events, and community initiatives across LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. The volunteer will assist with developing a content calendar, designing visually engaging posts, writing captions aligned with our brand voice, and analyzing engagement metrics to refine our approach. This project will help us better showcase the work of our professional cohorts, including NexoFinance, NexoLaw, NexoTech, and NexoCreative, and amplify the voices of young African and diverse professionals.
NexoAfrica’s mission is to build a thriving community of young African and diverse professionals seeking to advance their careers and partake in global initiatives. By enhancing our social media presence, we can expand our reach, attract new members and partners, and showcase the impact of our programs that promote professional growth, mentorship, and community engagement. This project will directly contribute to greater visibility for initiatives like our Business Accelerator, Culture x Capital events, and youth development programs—helping us inspire and connect the next generation of African leaders. The volunteer’s contributions will help amplify stories that shape narratives, open opportunities, and foster a sense of belonging among diaspora professionals.
We’ve prepared clear brand guidelines, previous campaign examples, and access to our digital assets (photos, videos, and logos) to ensure the volunteer can get started quickly. Our leadership team has aligned on messaging goals, and we’ve identified key audience segments for the volunteer to target. The project will be managed collaboratively through shared tools like Canva, and Google Drive, with weekly check-ins to ensure support and smooth communication. Our goal is to make the volunteer’s experience rewarding, structured, and creative—providing clear direction while allowing room for innovation.
