With a CPA volunteer, we intend to create a clear accounting framework for recording deposits, returns, and cup movements. The volunteer would provide example journal entries, QuickBooks setup guidance, and U.S. tax treatment recommendations. They would also produce templates and training materials. Specifics will be provided during volunteer interviews.

This guide will remove financial uncertainty for cafés, enabling wider adoption of reuse systems, reducing single-use waste, and helping Retrocycle scale regenerative, profitable practices by building the standardized financial infrastructure businesses need to switch to reusables.

Details will be provided during volunteer interviews. Our team will collaborate with the volunteer, be available for regular check-ins, review drafts, and prepare to adopt the finalized templates and guidance so cafés can implement them with confidence.
