We are seeking a volunteer to assist with the development of a clear, actionable FY2026 operating budget and guidance document that includes a draft revenue and expense budget, a simple cash-flow overview, and notes volunteers can reference for grant applications. Specific figures and program priorities will be discussed with volunteers.

This project will support HJI’s mission by producing a stable, transparent financial plan that strengthens grant competitiveness and helps direct resources toward addressing racial and other disparities in healthcare. Volunteer contributions will increase the organization's capacity to serve underserved communities.

We will collaborate with the volunteer through regular check-ins and interviews. Necessary documents and organizational priorities will be provided and discussed. Volunteers will receive timely feedback, and the final budget will be delivered in an editable format ready for use in grants and planning.
