We’re looking for a detail-oriented, mission-driven grant writer or researcher to help us find and apply for funding to support our refugee and migrant programs.

For this project, you'd work with our Development Team to:
• Use platforms like Foundation Directory to identify aligned funders
• Research eligibility, deadlines, and fit
• Draft or support the writing of compelling grant applications
• Help maintain a working list of submissions, templates, and funder profiles

You won’t be doing this alone. You’ll collaborate with our small team and have access to our organizational materials, early drafts, and support as needed.

International grant experience is a plus — we’re registered in the U.S. and expanding to the EU — but not required.
Creshendo works to break cycles of marginalization by co-creating programs with migrant and displaced communities. As funding for refugee-focused work becomes more scarce, especially in the U.S. and Europe, strong grant strategy has never been more important.

Your research and writing will help ensure our work continues — not just for one cycle, but as a sustainable, long-term solution. You’ll be helping communities tell their stories, build opportunity, and access the support they deserve.
You’ll be onboarded by our Executive Director or Grants Lead and given full access to our shared drive of proposals, templates, and funder notes. For the weeks we'll be working together, we’ll meet regularly or communicate via shared tools (whatever works best for your style), and you’ll have a team ready to implement what you help us build.

We’re organized, proactive, and looking for someone who can add structure and insight to what we’ve already started.
