We are seeking a volunteer with the expertise to create a customized, rebuilt SharePoint intranet site. This volunteer will collaborate with staff to define scope and implement agreed customizations. Currently, all of our all-staff communications are done via email, and key documents (aside from a rudimentary HR file list) are only shared via email, and are hard to refer back to or find to share with new staff.
A modernized intranet will help centralize important policies, information, and engagement opportunities. We are a community-driven culture, and we need a better way to connect with each other online!
We recently relaunched our Sharepoint site, and our staff is eager to get engaged and use this as an important centralized information source. Our Communications, IT and operations leadership is all invested in the project, and while we have general experience to the site, we need an expert who can help to restructure the site and our shared drives (which are currently accessed via Sharepoint). We will work closely with the volunteer to define requirements, set priorities, and agree on access and timelines so the delivered site can be adopted and maintained by our team.
