Create standardized property spec sheets and a tracking tool to improve operational consistency across Veterans Village sites. Each sheet should include property status, occupancy, maintenance needs, staff contacts, and key deadlines. Volunteers will receive templates, examples, and guidance on where to find the most up-to-date information, including reports, databases, and key contacts.

We will provide access to necessary tools and instructions for handling confidential information. Regular check-ins will ensure alignment and progress. Completed spec sheets, preliminary site plans, and the standardized tracking tool will strengthen regional operations, support planning for new sites, and improve housing service delivery.

Volunteers will work closely with two Area Directors overseeing 26 locations. Larry will focus on active properties and preliminary specifications for proposed sites, while Paul will set up detailed spec sheets and draft initial plans.

Organization Mission

Tunnel to Towers believes that no Veteran who volunteered to serve our country should be left struggling on the streets they once helped to defend. In 2023, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation launched its Homeless Veteran Program with the ambitious mission to eradicate Veteran homelessness nationwide, and has provided housing assistance and services to more than 6,500 veterans. The Foundation has Veterans Villages in Houston, Texas; Riverside, California; West Los Angeles, California; and Phoenix, Arizona. Construction is underway on Villages in Bradenton, Florida, Mableton, Georgia, Island Park, New York, Charleston, South Carolina, and Detroit, Michigan. Tunnel to Towers is ready to bring this program to Colorado.
