PARCA.Inc. Fundraising Strategy/Development Consulting

PARCA is a small, all-volunteer nonprofit supporting rhino conservation in Africa. As we enter our next growth phase, our top priority is building a clear, actionable fundraising strategy that will help us expand our donor base and strengthen year-over-year giving.

We are seeking a Taproot volunteer to help us define a focused fundraising approach that reflects our mission, our travel-based engagement model, and our ambitious goal to significantly grow donations. Goal would be to help us lay out a 12–24-month fundraising roadmap.
- Assess our current fundraising approach by reviewing our existing donor sources, travel program, outreach methods, and giving patterns.
- Identify strengths, gaps, and immediate opportunities
- Give guidance on how PARCA could grow its donors and diversify its donor base.

PARCA has raised ~$600,000 to date and built strong partnerships across Africa. To fully deliver on our 2030 vision—expanding travel, deepening partnerships, and elevating our brand—we must significantly grow and formalize our fundraising efforts. As a 100% volunteer organization, we lack professional fundraising expertise, and Taproot support will accelerate our ability to scale responsibly and sustainably.

We have already worked with a Taproot volunteer to create our 2023 Strategic Plan - now we have to execute on the individual goals. We will leading the Fundraising goal (with another board member) and we are committed to dedicating the time needed to make this project a success.
