We want to partner with a skilled volunteer to stand up a small but sturdy Microsoft Cloud for Nonprofit environment and configure Microsoft’s Volunteer Management app as our internal hub for volunteers and engagement opportunities.

In this project, the Systems Implementation and Support Lead will:

Confirm our nonprofit licenses, tenant, and Production environment and define a simple security model for a 5–8 person core team that can grow over time.

Deploy and configure Volunteer Management on Dataverse for internal use, including volunteer roles (Readiness Coaches, regional leads), qualifications, onboarding stages, and engagement opportunities that match our programs.

Create a basic collaboration pattern in Teams and SharePoint so leadership can see current volunteers and opportunities in one place.

Work with us to define 2–3 high priority Microsoft Forms (volunteer interest, host a class, partner contact), then build Power Automate flows that move submissions from our WordPress/Thrive environment into Dataverse or SharePoint with clean field mappings and simple notifications.

Document short, plain language runbooks and a repeatable pattern for adding new counties and regional leads later.

All of this work can be done in 2–5 hours per week over several weeks, with clear milestones for “Volunteer Management deployed,” “forms and flows live,” and “runbooks delivered.”
ReadyMeNow exists to help adults use their own life experience and basic emergency skills to make better everyday decisions and act during medical emergencies, especially in small towns and rural Mississippi communities that have limited local training options.

This project gives us the backbone we need to do that work well. A properly configured Microsoft nonprofit environment and Volunteer Management hub will let us:

Track volunteers, Readiness Coaches, and county teams so we can support them as they deliver Stories That Strengthen sessions and lifesaving CPR and First Aid training.

Capture interest from residents, hosts, and partners through embedded forms, so more people can access free CPR popups, cost recovery certification classes, and Seat Bank sponsored seats.

Monitor early activity and reach with simple dashboards, helping us prove impact to donors and funders and make better decisions as we scale county by county.

By giving us clean, secure systems at the start, this volunteer will directly support our mission to deliver on-site lifesaving training and personal readiness coaching where people live, work, and gather, and to ensure that cost or distance is not the reason someone has to say no.
My team and I have prepared for this project by:

Establishing ReadyMeNow as an IRS registered public charity with a clear FY2026 strategic plan, launch priorities, and growth goal across Mississippi’s North and Delta public health regions.

Drafting detailed role descriptions for the Systems Implementation and Support Lead and Website Support Specialist so responsibilities and collaboration points are already defined.

Standing up our first workstation and basic Microsoft 365 tenant access, giving the volunteer a live environment instead of a blank slate.

Implementing a managed WordPress site and Thrive based learning environment that will host free micro learning content and volunteer materials, ready for Microsoft Forms embeds.

Committing that the Executive Director and Website Support Specialist will meet regularly with the Systems Lead, follow the runbooks, and use Volunteer Management as our internal system of record for volunteers and engagement opportunities.

When the project ends, our leadership team will continue to use the environment, maintain the forms and flows, and apply the county rollout pattern as we expand into additional counties.
