We are a small volunteer-led organization in the literary arts field. We seek a CPA to conduct a financial review that we can submit to grant funders. Our budget size doesn't require a full audit, but we do need a financial review with an opinion.

Grant funding will enable us to hire staff and enable the organization to be financially sustainable.

To prepare for this project, we have gathered our budgeting information and will share access to our financial management tools. Our Treasurer and bookkeeper have financial records that can be used for this project.

The mission of the Golden Crown Literary Society is to increase the visibility and quality of sapphic and women-loving-women literature. The Golden Crown Literary Society goals are to: Recognize and reward quality sapphic and women-loving-women literature; Provide learning opportunities, encouragement, and assistance to new and established writers developing their craft; Provide opportunities to promote sapphic and women-loving-women literature, including events that bring readers and writers together; Be inclusive of friends/supporters of sapphic and women-loving-women literature. The GCLS is the leading literary organization for editors, publishers, narrators, readers, writers, and friends/supporters/allies who celebrate sapphic and women-loving-women literature.
