HubSpot DNS & Contact Database Cleanup

We are seeking a skilled volunteer to connect our DNS and verify sending domains in HubSpot, then audit and clean our contact database. The volunteer will identify unengaged contacts and advise whether to remove them from marketing contacts, deduplicate records, and recommend suppression or re-engagement steps. Details will be provided.

This project will transform how we connect with our community. Currently, many emails are sent from a generic HubSpot domain, limiting trust and engagement. By improving communication tools and personalizing outreach, volunteers will help us reach a wider audience, strengthen engagement, and cultivate a more connected community.

Your support will enable us to create email messaging that feels human and intentional, ensuring every community member knows they’re hearing directly from us, not an automated system. This will help us share opportunities, mobilize supporters, and highlight real-time updates from our restoration work, Biscayne Bay efforts, and educational programs. Ultimately, this work will build a stronger digital presence so our message reaches those who need it most, improve donor and volunteer retention through authentic communication, elevate environmental advocacy by ensuring our stories and impact are heard clearly, and grow our community of supporters who care about protecting Miami’s natural spaces.
By strengthening outreach, you’ll help inspire more people, mobilize action, and create deeper positive change across our city, protecting Biscayne Bay, building habitats for endangered wildlife, and advocating for stronger protections for the Miami Beach Reef.

Success will look like DNS fully connected and verified in HubSpot, a documented, actionable contact-cleaning plan implemented or handed off, and concise documentation so staff can maintain the CRM changes and processes.
