Brand Style Guide Development
Specific tasks we’d love support with include:
• Developing a cohesive brand messaging guide (audience-specific value propositions, tone, mission narrative).
• Creating templated collateral (one-page overview, partner deck, donor pitch materials).
• Assisting in refining website copy to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with our national strategy.
• Helping us communicate complex clinical and technical concepts in a way that is accessible, inspiring, and compelling to funders, hospitals, and potential partners.
This project is important because we are rapidly expanding adaptive gaming programs into rehabilitation hospitals, and we must present ourselves with a clear, professional, and unified voice that reflects our impact and credibility.
The volunteer will meet 2–5 hours per week with our founder and clinical training director, with clear weekly goals and deliverables.
For us to scale our impact, we must communicate our mission clearly and professionally to hospitals, clinicians, funders, and game industry partners. This project directly supports that goal by giving us the tools to:
• Engage more hospitals and train more clinicians to integrate adaptive gaming into therapy.
• Reach funders and donors who can expand equipment access for patients.
• Build a national alliance that unites healthcare, rehabilitation, gaming, and assistive technology sectors.
• Tell patient stories that illustrate how adaptive gaming restores agency, identity, and joy during recovery.
Your work will directly contribute to more patients gaining access to adaptive gaming technology, more clinicians being trained, and more hospitals embracing this innovative and life-changing approach. Volunteers will see the real impact of their contribution as our message supports national expansion.
• Full leadership alignment: Our founder, director of clinical training, and program team all support this project and will be available for weekly check-ins.
• Content gathering: We have compiled existing materials—including our mission framework, hospital program descriptions, grant narratives, and curriculum outlines—to provide strong starting content and context.
• Clear implementation plan: The final communications assets will be integrated immediately into our hospital onboarding packets, donor outreach, grant applications, and national partnership development.
• Decision-maker access: The volunteer will work directly with our founder, enabling rapid feedback and approvals.
• Defined scope and timeline: We will co-create a milestone-driven plan during week one, ensuring realistic expectations and structured progress.
By providing clarity, responsiveness, and a commitment to putting the volunteer’s work into action, we aim to create a smooth, rewarding pro bono partnership.
