My goal for the Taproot project is to work alongside a volunteer to add pages to refresh our website to improve the user experience and to add pages that include our newsletters, events, staff highlights, photos of our students performing and student artwork).

Through working on this project, the volunteer will help our mission by keeping visitors to our website engaged and moved by the impact of our work on the lives of underserved children.

We have most of the desired content for additional pages. Further details will be shared with the volunteer.

Neighborhood Studios transforms the lives of Bridgeport children through arts education and empowers them to make a difference in their community. Neighborhood Studios provides an inclusive warm and welcoming environment that enables students of all abilities and backgrounds, including those with special needs, to reach their fullest potential through the power of the arts. Neighborhood Studios offers high quality art, music, theater and dance instruction to children of all ages. We accomplish this by providing: after school, Saturday and summer programming; partnerships with schools and nonprofits; performance opportunities; financial assistance.
