Develop a concise, implementable business plan for King Manor Museum that includes market and capacity analyses, revenue diversification options with prioritization, contingency scenarios for the planned 2027–2029 closure, and a clear action roadmap with suggested next steps. Specifics and data sources will be provided during volunteer interviews.
This project will help King Manor sustain operations and diversify income so the museum can continue interpreting Rufus King's political and antislavery legacy and teaching critical thinking for a healthier democracy during the construction closure and beyond. Volunteer work will directly support program continuity and community education.
Details will be provided, for example, we already have a few SWOT analyses completed by two different sources. The museum will work with the volunteer to share relevant documents and schedule interviews as needed. Volunteers and staff will collaborate to refine assumptions and produce practical, actionable recommendations that the museum can adopt.
