In this consultation session, our primary objective is to address a pressing issue in our QuickBooks accounting system concerning the handling of donor-restricted gifts. A recent attempt to transfer these funds from accounts payable to a restricted equity account via a journal entry led to a loss of crucial detail, posing a challenge in our financial tracking.
