HR Recruitment Management

We are looking for a mission aligned,skilled volunteer who can help us recruit and hire new team members for new hate prevention projects supported through federal and state funding. Hiring and recruitment is deeply challenging. We are looking for a volunteer to help us find key people who not only have the right skills to implement our programs, but who have the sensitivity and experience to work with diverse communities experiencing hate and bias incidents, as well as civic leaders, educators and law enforcement agencies who engage in our programs. We are also seeking support for hiring in other positions.

Hate is one of the deepest challenges facing humanity. Not In Our Town works to address hate, bias and bigotry in local communities and schools, where these harms are experienced, but also where they can be addressed and countered by committed leaders and residents. There are some exciting new opportunities for our organization as we staff up, but our funding is limited. We have to be strategic about each hire and make sure we find people who are mission aligned and looking to contribute to this cause. We are looking for people who will thrive in a challenging environment, and who are seeking joy and fulfillment in engaging communities. We need a volunteer who can help us recruit diverse and experienced candidates to advance our mission.

We have a staff and board team ready to engage and sample job descriptions. We are looking for someone to research potential recruitment sites, post the description, research potential candidates, review resumes, participate in evaluation of candidates, assist with reference checks and hiring.
