Brochure Design

Stars and Stripes Dog Rescue is seeking skilled volunteers with marketing strategy and great ideas to develop a new brochure for the organization, which will allow us to recruit the veterans who need our services and donors/sponsors to help support our mission.

We recently upgraded our logo and want to do the same with our marketing collateral.

Join us in our mission to Change Lives by Saving Lives. Our program allows us to positively impact the lives of dogs who are on the euthanasia list, inmates who help train our dogs, and lastly, veterans who suffer from PTSD. We want to reach as many people as possible to not only educate the importance of our mission, but to bring in donations to help keep the program moving forward. We are looking for that special person who can help paint the best possible picture to make this all happen.

We will share our desired messaging, tone, and cadence. We will work closely with the volunteer to ensure that we are providing the necessary guidance and support, while at the same time allowing the volunteer’s creativity to shine.

Stars and Stripes Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) established in February 2022 in memory of Dustin Aimes, who unexpectedly passed away on October 16, 2021. Dustin was serving in the U.S. Air Force at Beale Air Force Base.

Amidst the heroes returning home, there are those who carry the silent but profound wounds of their service. Stars and Stripes Dog Rescue is on a mission to bring healing and comfort to veterans battling Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). We rescue "at risk" shelter dogs and place them into our prison obedience training program. Our mission is to train them to become the highest quality companion and service dogs (at no cost) for military veterans suffering from PTSD.

These lovingly trained dogs offer a lifeline to veterans in their time of need, providing unwavering support. But our work doesn't stop there. We also provide temporary housing and essential veterinary care to the dogs of military veterans within a 50-mile radius of Sacramento, CA, while they access vital healthcare services. Additionally, we empower veterans to train their own Service Dogs, fostering strong bonds and offering tools for healing. We believe in the profound connection between humans and animals, and your support can turn this belief into reality.

We have developed a new logo and have our current brochure, which can be used as a way to learn about what we do and allow your creative juices to flow. We have a dedicated resource who will be available to provide you with whatever information you need to be able to complete the project. We have several events coming up here in the Spring and wish to have something available to hand out. We also need to provide new marketing collateral to the VA Hospital here locally, where we have information available for veterans in need.
