This short-term project will entail fostering relationships with donors, managing financial contributions, and ensuring the organization's financial sustainability and growth. The skilled volunteer who joins our team will assist with:
1. Developing comprehensive donor development strategies to identify, cultivate, and steward prospective and existing donors.
2. Collaborating with senior staff to create targeted fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives aligned with our mission and fundraising goals.
3. Conducting prospect research and analysis to identify potential major donors, corporate sponsors, and grant opportunities.
4. Utilizing donor databases, wealth screening tools, and other resources to gather information and assess donor capacity and affinity.
5. Assisting in the development of grant proposals and funding applications.
This project will end in May 2024.
Are you ready to be a part of something truly transformative? We're calling on passionate individuals like you to join our volunteer project and make a real difference in the world.
At our core, we believe that change begins with action, and that's where you come in. Our project is dedicated to empowering underserved communities and driving forward positive socioeconomic change. But we can't do it alone – we need your help to turn our vision into reality. Joining the PYTF team will provide skilled professionals with the opportunity to strengthen their expertise, make an impact, and build relationships and networks that can extend beyond the project scope and duration, potentially landing them their next opportunity.
Over the last year, we have provided 27 loans totaling $43,127 to minority borrowers, 65% of them studying in the following target markets: DC, Virginia, and Maryland. Of our pipeline of 102 borrowers, 70% of them are members of our trademark/imprint. We have made several preparations for the implementation of the project:
1. We've conducted a needs assessment.
2. We've allocated time and financial resources that include senior-level staff with project management assistance willing to assist volunteers in facilitating the completion of the project.
3. We've established partnerships and collaboration.
4. We've implemented communication strategies and engaged key stakeholders.
Through monitoring, evaluation, and sustainability planning we've forecasted the successful implementation of the project.
